Summary
A new registry is available through the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services to connect service providers and people in need of care.

The Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services recently launched the Personal Care Attendant Registry.  Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) help older adults or individuals with disabilities with daily living activities like mail sorting, meals, grooming, or transportation.

Personal care attendants (PCAs) seeking work in Rhode Island should submit their information for the registry so prospective clients can find them. PCAs must:

  • Be over 18
  • Be Certified in CPR and First Aid
  • Complete a free online orientation to the Personal Care Program provided by the state.

To submit your information to the Personal Care Attendant Registry, email the RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services at ohhs.pcpcaregistry@ohhs.ri.gov
